The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
This is one of my new favorite books!  It is addicting (read it in about 3 sittings) and I am looking forward to getting my hands on the next two books in the trilogy.  The Hunger Games is a science fiction trilogy set in the future and revolves around the trials and tribulations of fourteen year old Katniss Everdeen.  There is action, survival, and romance in the first book - I hope you will read these with me!   

Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay
I was glued to this book for three days straight and picked it up every ti
me the baby was down for his nap.  It is a fictional story that takes place in the past and present. It revolves around France's involvement in deporting Jews to concentration camps during the years of Hitler. Highly recommended!

The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
This is definitely in my Top 5 of all time favorite books.  If you saw the movie, but haven't read the book...READ this book.  I became completely wrapped up in this story and Ms. Niffenegger will have you convinced of time travel by the end.

House Rules by Jodi Picoult
This is a page turner! I found myself staying up way past bed time to read this one. A teenager with Aspergers Syndrome has been accused of murder. His mom believes he is innocent, but can the jury see the boy as she does?
Wild at Heart by John Eldridge
In this book Eldridge gives women a look inside a man's heart. He explains that God designed men to be heroes, worriers, and to live adventuress lives. I read this book years ago, but now that I have a little boy I am reading it again.
